Family
Impermanence is at the very heart of life. This moment is our chance to be joyful, mindful, and awake.
Family is not defined by one shape, structure, or story. It can be a parent and child, two people building a life together, chosen family, generations gathered in one room, or the quiet devotion between a person and an animal. Family is love, connection, and the people we choose to be fully present with.
As a mother to a son and two dogs, I understand that real life is messy, chaotic, tender, and beautiful. It can be difficult enough to find time to be together, let alone ask everyone to sit still and smile. I am not interested in manufacturing perfection. I am looking for what is already there: the way bodies lean toward one another, the familiar gestures, the laughter, the wildness, and the invisible threads of love connecting one soul to another.
My approach to family photography is intuitive, documentary, and gently editorial. Sessions can take place in my Brooklyn studio, in your home, or at a location meaningful to you. Whether photographing children, couples, pets, or chosen family, I create honest and artful images that preserve not only how this chapter looked, but how it felt to belong to one another.
Sessions begin at $1,250. Mini-sessions begin at $550. Inquire for more info.
